Manama: Six expatriates have been arrested in Bahrain for allegedly harassing a 16-year-old boy. The head of the Family and Child Prosecution said he had received a report from the public prosecution in the incident in which the child sustained multiple injuries. All those arrested were reportedly Asians
The head of the Family and Child Prosecution said in a statement that video footage of the child being abused was circulating on social media. As soon as the information was received, the public prosecution started an investigation. Defendants were questioned and remanded for a speedy trial. The Child Protection Center has been asked to report the child’s mental and social condition.
