In a devastating terror attack that rocked Tel Aviv, six individuals were left hospitalized, with two women in serious condition, while one of them lost her unborn child due to her injuries. The attack occurred on Wednesday and has left the city in shock and anguish.

The Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv issued a statement regarding the condition of the two seriously injured women. It mentioned that both women had undergone sedation and intubation. Tragically, one of the women, who was pregnant, lost her child as a result of the attack.

Additionally, the hospital revealed that two others, who sustained minor injuries, were being treated in the neurosurgery and orthopedics departments.

Meanwhile, at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, the conditions of the two victims who were initially rushed there have improved. According to the hospital, their injuries are no longer life-threatening. One of the victims, a 30-year-old man, underwent surgery after suffering stab wounds to his stomach. The other victim, a 76-year-old man, is currently in intensive care after being treated for knife wounds to his chest. A 66-year-old man with facial injuries was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday night.

Survivors and family members of the victims expressed their deep concerns after the attack. Simcha Kuzai, the mother of Rebecca Shinfeld, who is in serious condition at Ichilov Hospital, described her growing worry when she was unable to reach her daughter after learning about the incident.

The assailant, identified as 20-year-old Abed al-Wahab Khalaila from the West Bank town of as-Samu, launched the attack by ramming his pickup truck into pedestrians on Pinchas Rosen Street in northern Tel Aviv. He then proceeded to stab multiple individuals. The entire incident was captured on surveillance cameras, showing the attacker targeting innocent passers-by and those at a nearby cafe. Fortunately, an armed civilian intervened and shot the terrorist dead.

The Shin Bet security agency revealed that the attacker did not possess an entry permit to Israel. The incident occurred amidst a major military operation in the West Bank city of Jenin, which security services have identified as a hotspot for terrorist activity.

This attack follows another suspected terror incident in the Tel Aviv suburb of Bnei Brak earlier this week, where a Palestinian teenager stabbed and lightly injured an Israeli man.

The aftermath of this horrific attack serves as a reminder of the ongoing threats faced by the people of Israel and the importance of continued vigilance in maintaining security. The authorities are continuing investigations into the attack to gather more information about the motives and potential accomplices of the assailant.

As Tel Aviv mourns the victims and prays for the recovery of the injured, the nation stands united against terrorism, determined to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens.
