Tristan Maurel and Martin Habfast, the co-founders of Umiami, have a great ambition: to establish themselves, in the years to come, as one of the leaders in the market for plant-based alternatives to meat. Founded in 2020, the company of these two former students of the University of Paris-Saclay supplies manufacturers who in turn supply the stalls of large retailers. For them, the adventure begins in Essonne, in Villebon-sur-Yvette, the location of the company’s new head office.
