The administrators of 145 territories of the DRC are launching a cry of alarm to the government and to the President of the Republic following the non-payment.

They have received neither salaries nor installation costs, let alone operating costs since the signing of the appointment order by the Head of State in November 2022.

In an interview with actualité.cd, one of them, who requested anonymity, said that all the steps they are taking in Kinshasa to have their rights restored are unsuccessful, they are seeking the involvement of the Head of State to enable them to carry out the functions entrusted to them.

It pleased your high authority on November 18, 2022 to initiate a series of ordinances appointing administrators and deputy administrators in the 145 territories of our country. However, these orders are only partially executed. The notification and delivery and recovery have indeed been carried out. However, since taking office to date, we have had neither installation costs nor operating costs, even worse, no remuneration or bonus due to our functions. In a common step, some AT and ATA arrived in Kinshasa in order to meet the authorities as for this, we were surprised to note the refusal of audience near our government supposed to do it”, declares an administrator under anonymity.

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, this territory administrator indicated that several of them return empty-handed to their jurisdictions without any way out.
