Directed by Vinayan with Siju Wilson in the lead role, 19th Century is continuing to run successfully in theatres. The film marks a strong comeback for director Vinayan.
Siju Wilson plays the historical character Aratupuzha Velayudha Panicker in the film.
In an interview with Club FM, Siju Wilson talks about the physical labor and training that went into playing the 19th century character. The actor shared about the six months of horse racing, calaripayat and weight training in the gym and the physical difficulties during that time.
