Six out of ten new contributors in the Basque Country are migrants

The Basque Country ended the year with a record number of contributors, approaching one million, and this is largely due to the incorporation of foreigners into Social Security, which have chained one all-time high after another this year. At the end of 2002, there were 83,228 foreign affiliates in the system, after having added 8,532 between January and December.
