A father (29) rolled over his son (6) with a wheeled excavator in Neuhaus in the Carinthian district of Völkermarkt on Saturday afternoon. The child suffered fatal injuries, police said. The father suffered severe shock and required medical attention. He had assumed his son was with the neighbors, but unexpectedly he was behind the wheeled excavator on his bicycle; his father didn’t see him reversing.
