The ski season has started in the Moscow region – 2021/22. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

It is noted that the level of snow in the region has reached normal by December 4. Leonid Tyagachev’s club was the first to open its doors to everyone within the framework of the “Winter in the Moscow Region” project. So far, only two tracks have opened there.

In total, 18 ski resorts will operate in the region this season for outdoor enthusiasts. For visitors, 90 cross-country skiing and 149 tubing trails will function in parks, forest parks, sports complexes and stadiums, the 360 ​​TV channel notes.

Near sports facilities, for the comfort of guests and residents of the region, cafes, parking lots, shops, changing rooms, rentals and toilets will be equipped, writes RIAMO.

At the end of November, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) told Izvestia that Russian ski resorts raised prices by up to 50% for the New Year holidays compared to 2019. Prices have especially risen in Krasnaya Polyana: a night in a modest hotel will cost 8 thousand rubles or more, in the “five” – ​​40 thousand, travel agents noted. Less popular resorts do not lag behind in pricing – hotels there have risen in price by 35%.
