Madurai: A 3-day skill development training for entrepreneurs was conducted at Madurai Social Science College and Research Institute under the Prime Minister’s Institute for Small Processed Industries (PMFME).
Natarajan, Head, Department of Agricultural Commodity Marketing and Agribusiness, presided.
Raviraj, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering, Kanchana, Dean, College of Social Sciences of Coimbatore Agricultural University presided.
Madurai is being subsidized for pulses value addition scheme under one district one item scheme. 110 people participated in dal and waffle making, value addition training.
Professors Yehamalatha, Parimalam, Geetha, Amuda, PMFME, Project Officer Nandakumar explained about value addition technology. Professor Vijayalakshmi proposed vote of thanks. The training ends today (Oct 28).
