“I’m so annoyed right now,” the 48-year-old told her followers. The reason for Mirja du Mont’s upset is a physical attack that occurred while shopping. “I was just in the mall. A woman came up to me. Sometimes you don’t know exactly whether to go right or left,” the influencer recalls in an Instagram story that is no longer available. But when she tried to walk past the woman, the woman attacked du Mont and rammed her “full force” in the chest with an elbow. “It hurt so much,” said du Mont.
She then confronted the attacker, but only received a harsh response. This was an absolute absurdity for Mirja du Mont: “What kind of stupid people are there who always take out their frustration on others?” Instead, she said, one should smile “and then it’s okay.”
Mirja du Mont became known alongside Sky du Mont. The two got married in 2000 and had two children together during their marriage, a daughter born in 2001 and a son born in 2006. However, after 16 years together, the marriage failed: in 2016, the couple’s separation was announced. Mirja du Mont apparently called it quits.
