Skywell Unveils Plans for Second Electric Model with Dizzying Acceleration and Huge Screens
Skywell, the Chinese electric car manufacturer, has announced its plans to introduce a second electric model with impressive power and acceleration, as well as state-of-the-art features. The new model, known as ‘Skyhome EV’, was recently revealed at the Hong Kong auto show and is set to hit the market in 2024.
The ‘Skyhome EV’ will be offered in a sedan-coupe configuration and is based on a new platform that the company claims is 90% ready for production. The power unit will include a pair of electric motors producing 625 hp and accelerating to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. Additionally, the vehicle will offer a range of over 500 km and support ultra-fast charging of 800V.

The company has faced challenges with declining sales of its flagship model, the ET5, in China.
