Slight weekly losses for Basra crude

/ Basra crude oil achieved slight weekly losses, despite gains in global oil prices for the second week in a row.

Basra Heavy crude closed in its last session yesterday, Friday, at an increase of $1.46, reaching $71.75, and recorded slight weekly losses of $1.98, equivalent to 2.69%.

While Basra Average crude closed in its last session at an increase of $1.46, reaching $74.30, and also recorded slight weekly losses amounting to $1.98, or 2.06%.

As for global oil prices, they are heading to achieve gains for the second week in a row, coinciding with fears of interruption of crude supplies from the Middle East in the wake of the closure of the largest oil field in Libya and the crisis targeting ships in the Red Sea.
