The news of the death was published by relatives of a nice Slovak woman. “Indescribable pain filled our hearts when our most beloved daughter, granddaughter, girlfriend, cousin, niece and friend passed away on August 10th,” they despaired. The internet was then flooded with condolences and horrified reactions. The last farewell took place on Tuesday, August 15.
Dajana made a living as a personal trainer, influencer, nutritionist and also participated in fitness competitions. She started playing sports at the age of sixteen. People around her describe her as a kind girl who was not afraid to help others.
Ivo’s mother described to Nový Čas that she tried to call her daughter all Wednesday, but without success. She was not afraid of anything, because it often happened that the girl was busy and called her parents later. However, when she didn’t hear back even on Thursday, Ivona panicked.
So the mother and grandmother went to the athlete’s apartment together. “I opened the door and shouted at Dajanka where she was. When my mom and I came to the bathroom, it was a terrible sight. I’ll never forget it. Dayanka lay motionless in the bathtub,” says a devastated Ivona.
The cause of death is still unclear. The influencer died suddenly and unexpectedly in the bathtub. Lifeguard Vilém Dobiáš listed several possibilities of what could have happened: “For example, she could have had an epileptic seizure, or she could have had a malfunction within the heart system, so the heart could stop. It could still be an embolism after some kind of injury. If she had a blood clot somewhere in a vessel, it could have broken off.’
