City of Manchester hit us this tuesday Bratislava Slavs for the second date of the degree of the series of Champions League. The English team won 0-4 and are still among the top eight in the competition.
Those led by Pep Guardiola did not take long to progress. In just the 8th minute, Ilkay Gundogan scored the first goal in a game that saw a double comeback in the area and then the German grabbed the ball and took his right foot to score his first goal on his return to City.
Seven minutes later, City extended the score with Phil Foden who was found by Jeremy Doku and inside the area he took a left-footed shot to the far post of the Slovakian goalkeeper.
Already in the second half, Erling Haaland scored the third goal when he hit the space after a great screening pass from Rico Lewis and defined after taking out the goalkeeper who could not do much to prevent the goal.
The fourth came in the 74th minute and it was the work of James McAtee who reached the ball to the midfielder after a combination between Lewis and Foden saw him save with a shot inside the area.
With this result, City are fourth in the table with four points and the following day they face Sparta Praha at the Etihad Stadium.
