Slovenian Roglic wins the Tirreno-Adriatico for the second time

The Slovenian rider wins the race after winning three consecutive stages this week. This is the second time he has won the Tirreno-Adriatico. It was Jasper Philipsen who won the last stage in the sprint.

Slovenian Primoz Roglic won Tirreno-Adriatico for the second time on Sunday, after his first success in 2019, having won three of the seven stages of the Italian race where he started his 2023 season. The three-time winner of the Tour of Spain (2019 to 2021) finished in the peloton the 7th and final stage without difficulty settled in a sprint by the Belgian Jasper Philipsen in San Benedetto del Tronto, in the Marche region.

Concerning the last stage, it was Jasper Philipsen, the Belgian rider from the Alpecin team who won in the sprint after a group finish. With this victory, he signs his second success on the Tirreno Adriatico.
