Krško – The Slovenian nuclear power plant Krško was gradually shut down preventively after a leak in the primary system was discovered on Thursday evening, the STA news agency reported, referring to a statement from the power plant operator. On Friday, Carinthian and Styrian politicians took the incident as an opportunity to once again call for a complete shutdown. The two state governors Peter Kaiser (SPÖ) and Christopher Drexler (ÖVP) called for a quick shutdown in broadcasts.
