A 7-member constitutional bench headed by Justice Aminuddin heard the slum case. At the beginning of the hearing, Justice Aminuddin Khan said that the province and local government have the authority to regulate slums.

Justice Jamal Mandukhel said that if there is any encroachment other than these slums, then action should be taken, there are laws for illegal encroachment, lawyer CDA said that the court has issued an injunction against encroachment.
