Former EXO member proposes… “Can I dare to marry you?”
Tao, formerly of EXO, proposed to Xu Yiyang while getting down on one knee and shedding tears. Xu Yiyang accepted Tao’s proposal and shared a tearful kiss.
According to Singaporean media Lianhe Zhaobao and others on the 26th (local time), Tao proposed to Xu Yiyang.
In the released video, he knelt on one knee and handed her a bouquet of flowers while shedding tears in a space decorated with pink flowers. It’s a classic proposal.
Tao said in a trembling voice, “I think that from the moment we first met until now, the beginning of our journey was actually already decided. We will be together until the end of our lives.” He asked, “May I dare to marry you?” Xiu Yiyang accepted Tao’s proposal and shared a tearful kiss.
On the 14th of last month, Tao and Xiuyang admitted to their relationship by posting a photo of them kissing on their respective social media services (SNS). They expressed their affection for each other by saying, “Our love will be forever” and “Making a wish on the beach at sunset.”
Tao and Xiuyang are from the same SM Entertainment. They are currently working together at China’s Longtao Entertainment.
Xu Yiyang, who joined SM Entertainment as a trainee in 2014, also appeared in ‘MY SMT’ with current aespa member Ningning in 2016. After leaving SM Entertainment in 2018, she debuted in China as a member of the group Legal High.
Meanwhile, Tao debuted as a member of the group EXO in 2012, but was the third member to leave the group in 2015, following Kris and Luhan.
