jpnn.com – State High School (SMAN) 4 Metro Lampung won 1st place in the 2024 Axis Nation Cup (ANC) Regional Final Round.
Later, SMAN 4 Metro Lampung will represent the student futsal team in the ANC 2024 Grand Final at the Indonesia Arena, GBK Jakarta on November 16 2024.
Previously, SMAN 4 Metro Lampung and eight school futsal teams from Sumatra competed in the 2024 AXIS Nation Cup (ANC) Regional Final at GOR Dempo Jakabaring, Palembang, South Sumatra, last Saturday (19/10).
The other eight schools are SMA Labschool Unsyiah Banda Aceh, SMK IT Budi Agung Medan, SMAN 1 Padangsidempuan, MAN 2 Batam, SMA Negeri 1 Sports – SKO (Special School for Sports) Riau, SMA Negeri 1 Solok Selatan, SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat, and SMAN 1 Tanjung Batu.
The winning teams have defeated dozens of schools in each area, namely the Aceh, Medan, Tebing Tinggi, Batam, Pekanbaru, Padang, Jambi, Palembang and Lampung areas.
XL Axiata West Region Group Head Desy Sari Dewi revealed that the winners were young candidates who had high motivation to achieve achievements.
“Because of that, we, XL Axiata management, are also very enthusiastic about facilitating them to pursue their dreams, by holding the biggest high school level futsal tournament in Indonesia,” said Desy, Sunday (20/10/2024).
“We hope that we can contribute to encouraging sports achievements among students, as well as strengthening AXIS’ brand positioning in the youth segment. We also hope that the school team from Sumatra can become winners in the 2024 AXIS Nation Cup Grand Final at the Indonesia Arena, GBK Jakarta.” Desy added.
Winning 1st place in the Axis Nation Cup (ANC) Regional Final Round, SMAN 4 Metro Lampung will later represent the student futsal team in the 2024 ANC Grand Final
