Smart Fit reported that he discharged the alleged stalker of a young man who recorded him without clothes and without his consent in a branch in Xalapa.
It should be remembered that a member of the gym chain reported that someone recorded him without clothes and without his consent in the locker room area of the Xalapa branch, in the state of Veracruz.
For this reason, he asked the administrators and directors of Smart Fit to find the person responsible, in addition to demanding that the Olimpia Law be applied, given that the clip was spread on social networks.
The alleged victim made a thread on her ‘X’ profile where she indicated that she found the video on said social network in the account of a subject who is a member of the same gym she goes to in the toy square which is located in Xalapa.

Smart Fit responds to harassment case
After the case became a trend on various social networks, as well as the young man’s complaint, the gym chain issued a statement in which it reported that it had discharged the alleged perpetrator.
“When we detect the situation, we take the necessary actions by contacting the affected user to provide support and definitively deregistering the user responsible for the harassment,” the statement reads.
Smart Fit added that it collaborates with the corresponding authorities to determine the sanctions for the offender, in addition to ensuring that:
“We reiterate our full support for those affected by these types of situations and we are committed to accompanying them at all times.”
Some users of Elon Musk’s social network responded to the gym’s publication indicating that similar cases of harassment have happened in the same and other branches and have not been addressed.

The above happens because Smart Fit indicated that it maintains a “zero tolerance policy against any type of harassment within our facilities.”
