Tianguistenco, Mex.- This weekend, Marco Aurelio Carbajal Leyva, Secretary General of the Union of Teachers in the Service of the State of Mexico (SMSEM), led the regional deliveries of different welfare support for its members, in which the organization distributed a sum of more than 8.3 million pesos, for the benefit of 532 teachers.

To strengthen the economy of teachers, helping them to cover various needs, the SMSEM granted 343 loans from the Savings Fund for Retirement and Multiple Support (FAJAM), with a total amount of 7,250,000 pesos.

Through these credits, teachers can solve an unexpected situation, acquire necessary personal and professional items or invest it in the way that best suits them and later cover it with important payment facilities, such as low interest and payment through discounts. via payroll.

In addition, 189 teachers who recently suffered the loss of one of their parents, children or spouse, received Support for the Death of a Direct Relative, a program with which the SMSEM supports its members in solidarity in this type of situation.

For this delivery, the organization headed by Marco Aurelio Carbajal allocated an economic sum of 1 million 110 thousand pesos.

In the same way, 82 teachers who were winners during the raffle for International Women’s Day, went to the 13 regional offices of the SMSEM, in order to receive the corresponding gift.
