Snam4Mobility and the Austrian Wolftank Hydrogen have started a collaboration linked to the hydrogen mobility which involves the construction of petrol stations for cars, buses and trucks. This was announced by the group led by Marco Alver. After signing the memorandum of understanding, the Snam group company active in sustainable mobility and the Austrian partner will evaluate infrastructure initiatives to enable the use of hydrogen in transport in Italy and potentially in other countries. The first initiative – reads the note – a joint expression of interest in response to the consultation of the Institute for Technological Innovations (IIT) of Bolzano aimed at the construction of new refueling stations along theBrenner motorway (A22).

The decarbonisation of transport

Snam4Mobility and Wolftank Hydrogen may eventually define with binding agreements the mutual commitment to combine the respective competences in the technological and infrastructural sector to encourage the adoption of hydrogen as a green and renewable vector for decarbonizzazione of transport. Currently, in Italy a public refueling station for hydrogen vehicles is active, in Bolzano, built in 2012.

The strategic plan

In the strategic plan of the company, the realization of at least five petrol stations of hydrogen. Wolftank Hydrogen and Snam4Mobility will eventually be able to extend the collaboration also to the neighboring markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
