Snapchat Introduces “Dreams” Feature Using Artificial Intelligence

Washington – Qena

The photo messaging platform, Snapchat, has launched the “Dreams” feature, which enables users to modify their photos and turn them into imaginary scenes, using artificial intelligence techniques.

According to the official statement issued by Snapchat, the new feature has been launched, which is based on generative artificial intelligence models. This feature allows users to modify ordinary photos and turn them into images of a legendary nature and give them completely new identities, such as becoming a royal figure in the Renaissance era, or Mermaid in the deep sea.

To benefit from the “Dreams” feature, users must go to the “Memories” section within the Snapchat application, where they will find a new tab called “Dreams,” and using a few selfies, they can create a group of imaginative images through generative artificial intelligence techniques.

The first pack of fantasy images comes free and includes eight images, after which users can purchase additional packs for $1 each.

It is worth noting that there are other applications that use artificial intelligence techniques to modify images, including the (Lensa) application, which generates (magic avatar images), and the (Remini) application, which allows users to obtain professional images without the need for expensive photo sessions.

This update will be available first to Snapchat users in New Zealand and Australia and will be launched to all users around the world in the coming weeks. This new feature is added to other AI features within Snapchat, including the “My AI” personal assistant.
