“The circulation of trains will remain disrupted” this Monday, warned the SNCF. In the air sector, preventive flight cancellations were requested at Orly and Marseille airports.

High risk day for the executive. This Monday, the National Assembly should study the motions of censure tabled following the speech of Elisabeth Borne in the Hemicycle last Thursday. At the same time, the social movement against pension reform continues, with disruption promised in certain sectors.

In transport, travelers will once again have to be patient on Monday. Le Figaro report on traffic conditions.

SNCF: traffic disrupted again

At the SNCF, traffic will be disrupted this Monday, in conditions similar to those of the last few days. Thus, the company plans to circulate more than four TGV Inoui et Ouigo out of five, as well as two TER out of three, on national average. Likewise, three Intercities out of five should run during the day, and none at night.

In Île-de-France, the networks managed by Transilien should also be disrupted. Traffic will be normal on the RER A et «normal to almost normal» on the T4, T11 and T13 trams as well as on the lines K et H. One in two trains will run on the RER B on average as well as on the line R. Two out of three trains are planned on the RER C and the lines J, L et N. Three out of four trains are expected to operate on the line P and the RER Etwo out of five on the RER D and one in three on the line Uaccording to the SNCF.

In addition, in the longer term, the SNCF expects lasting difficulties this week: at the national level, the group foresees further disruptions on Tuesday, while in Île-de-France, Transilien foresees difficulties “until the weekend“. The group’s unions remain mobilized against the government’s plans: “Our organizations are committed to multiplying unitary actions and initiatives from this weekend in all territories, both in the company and at the interprofessional level, and to come and discuss the conduct of the conflict at a general assembly. They decide to call on the railway workers to maintain the strike and to act massively next Thursday, March 23, the date fixed by the inter-union, and to take part in the demonstrations.“, they announced in a press release on Friday.

RATP: no disruption planned, stations closed

For its part, the RATP told the Figaro do not expect any particular disturbance this Monday on its network. Buses, trams and metros should therefore run smoothly.

However, several stations located near Place de la Concorde, the National Assembly and the Champs-Élysées will be closed.from 11 a.m.“, at the request of the police headquarters. We therefore find the Argentine, Georges V, Champs Élysées Clemenceau, Franklin D. Roosevelt, La Tour-Maubourg, Invalides, National Assembly, Solférino, Varenne, Musée d’Orsay and Charles de Gaulle-Etoile stops. Connections will be unavailable at these stations, and they will only reopen with the authorization of the prefecture, specifies the Ile-de-France region.

Air: disruptions at Orly and Marseille

The situation should remain calm in the air: on Friday, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) announced that only two airports should be affected by preventive flight cancellations following the social movement. The administration has therefore asked the airlines to “reduce their flight schedule by 30% at Paris-Orly airport and by 20% at Marseille-Provence airport».

Despite these “preventive measures“, additional disruptions and delays are likely to occur, warned the DGAC in its press release.
