SNCF strike: TGV, Ouigo, RER… traffic still disrupted this Friday, March 24

by time news

The mobilization against the pension reform continues, despite its adoption in Parliament. Indeed, Emmanuel Macron’s intervention at 13 Hours on Wednesday did not appease the spirits and the ninth inter-union day was fairly well attended this Thursday in the street. In transport, the movement therefore continues to impact traffic.

If in Ile-de-France the traffic is announced “almost normal” by the RATP for this Friday, the SNCF is less optimistic. Indeed, “traffic will improve but will remain disrupted on certain lines”. The share of Ile-de-France transport managed by the national company will still be affected, as well as trains in the rest of France. The Parisian takes stock.

TGV

SNCF plans to maintain three quarters of the TGV Inoui and Ouigo. Traffic will be disrupted, with 3 out of 5 TGVs.

TER

Regional trains will again be affected by the strike. The SNCF plans 3 TER out of 5 on average.

Intercities

As since the beginning of the movement, Intercity traffic is still disrupted by strike movements. The SNCF plans 3 Intercités out of 5 on average. No night trains will run.

In Ile-de-France

Metro : normal traffic on all lines

RER : an average of 3 trains out of 4 for the RER (interconnection maintained at Nanterre Préfecture); on average 2 trains out of 3 for RER B (interconnection maintained at Gare du Nord); provide 1 train out of 2 on average on the entire line for the RER C; provide 3 trains out of 5 on average for the RER D and plan on average 1 out of 2 trains on all axes for the RER E.

Bus et tramways : normal traffic on all lines. Traffic will also be normal on the Orlyval.

Transilien: provide 2 trains out of 3 on lines H, J and L; provide 1 train out of 2 on lines N and P (Normal service between Esbly and Crécy-la-Chapelle); and traffic will be normal on line K.

Disruptions “will remain” this weekend

The railway unions must meet on Friday “to consider the follow-up to be given to this conflict”, indicated in a press release the CGT Cheminots, for whom the movement “must continue under the control and the decisions of the railway workers gathered in AG”.

“Disturbances will remain this weekend”, soberly indicated SNCF Voyageurs.
