SNCF: TGV subscribers “on strike” to denounce price increases

At the call of the National Coordination of Train Users (Cnut) — a grouping of several collectives — the 20,000 subscribers are protesting against the increase, respectively of 10% (Max Active) and 5% (Max Active +), of price since February 1. “The SNCF policy is unacceptable. This represents an increase of almost 20% in the space of three years. It’s a lack of respect towards us, who have been recurring and loyal customers for years,” says David Charretier, president of the TGV Tours-Paris users’ association, one of the largest.
