SNCF: with a record 14 million long-distance tickets already sold, the summer looks bright

At the SNCF, everyone is on the platform. Two million holidaymakers are expected between this Thursday and Sunday, almost all TGVs are full for the July 14 bridge. It was a summer of records for the railway company, which, according to the management of SNCF Voyageurs, has already sold more than 14 million long-distance tickets over the summer, mainly to – unsurprisingly – the Mediterranean, the South-West and Brittany. That is a reservation level up by almost 10% compared to 2019, before the pandemic.
