This Monday, the Los Nevados National Natural Park woke up covered in a spectacular blanket of snow, after an early morning of low temperatures and heavy rain.

The natural phenomenon surprised tourists, residents and park officials, who reveled in the beauty of the frozen landscape.
The snowfall, unexpected for many, transformed the park’s surroundings into a white and serene scene, offering visitors an extraordinary sight. María Paula Trujillo, an official of National Parks, described the event as “a spectacle that nature offers us, moments that remind us of its immensity and its ability to surprise us.”
