A total of 2,030 dengue cases have been diagnosed in the second week of January 2023.
The National Dengue Control Unit has reported that dengue patients have been reported from 9th to 15th January 2023.
The highest number of dengue patients have been diagnosed in Colombo district at 452.
417 people in Gampaha district, 257 people in Puttalam district, 123 people in Kalutara district, 107 people in Kalmunai district and 103 people in Jaffna district have been diagnosed with dengue.
The National Dengue Control Unit further informed that 4,172 cases of dengue have been reported so far this year.
