Next month, Jomoto plans to deliver food and groceries within the next 10 minutes of customers ordering.

The project is being implemented as a pilot project in only 4 key areas in Gurugram. Only 20 to 30 types of food will be listed for delivery in 10 minutes. Since not all dishes are served in 10 minutes, only these 30 types of dishes will be added to the list of various restaurants.
Experimental attempt
Jomoto CEO Deepinder Goyal said, “The delivery plan is to be implemented in 10 minutes, fulfilling the promise of speedy delivery. In the first phase, the project will be implemented in only 4 key areas in Gurugram next month.
We will not give any crisis to anyone like the restaurants, food delivery staff and hotels that have joined us in this project. We will not penalize them for not feeding quickly.
Delivery staff will try to deliver food on time. However, the road environment and traffic congestion must also be taken into account. Not everything happens the way we thought it would.
Customers need
In these 10 minutes we are going to implement the delivery plan first only to the most intimate places and areas. It will be implemented according to the needs of the customers. Delivery within 10 minutes will not be charged and regular charges will be levied.

Jomato has been trying to acquire start-up Blinkit as it faces a severe financial crisis.
Notably, Blinkit is a food delivery company similar to Jomato. The 10 minute food and groceries delivery plan is the brainchild of Blinkit. It currently takes a minimum of 30 minutes for food to be available to the customer if ordering at Jomato. With a 30 minute delay in the emerging market, Jomato is moving to the next level.
