The card of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) is an official, personal and free document and is used to enter your Family Medical Unit (UMF), receive care and schedule a medical appointment. Requirements to process the card in your clinic
The face-to-face procedure is carried out at your corresponding clinic by the beneficiary or an insured family member. From Monday to Friday from 08:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in units with morning shift and from 08:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., in units with morning and evening shift. You must bring the following documents:

How to process the IMSS card online for the first time?
You must enter the official IMSS Digital page and pre-register and follow these steps:
