Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin allowed visitors to the capital’s parks to sit on benches. The corresponding decree of the mayor is published on his website.

At the same time, it is prohibited to use playgrounds and sports grounds, gazebos and other objects with which other people could contact in parks, the document says.

Earlier, the chief sanitary doctor of Moscow, Elena Andreeva, called the epidemic situation in the capital unfavorable. She ordered Moscow employers to vaccinate 60% of employees against coronavirus. By July 15, they should get the first coronavirus vaccine, by August 15 – the second. Vaccinations should be done by workers in trade and services, catering, health care, education, etc.

According to the headquarters on June 16, 13,397 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Russia per day, of which 5,782 were in Moscow. In total, 5.2 million cases of infection have been identified in Russia, 4.8 million patients have already recovered from the virus. 127.6 thousand people have died from the coronavirus. According to Johns Hopkins University, Russia has the sixth highest incidence of coronavirus in the world.
