The number of hospitalizations of patients with coronavirus per day in Moscow dropped from 1,600 to 1,500 in a week, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in an interview with the Russia 1 TV channel.

“There is no growth dynamics: we have somewhere around 1,500 hospitalizations for a week, and the previous week was 1,600 – 1,700,” Sobyanin said.

Yesterday Sobyanin announced that Moscow would not be renewed after November 7. Previously, such a regime was introduced from October 28 to November 7. During non-working days, catering works only for delivery and takeaway, cultural institutions let visitors in by QR codes, mass events are not held.

Over the past 24 hours, 6305 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Moscow. 6633 patients recovered from COVID-19, 97 died. The herd immunity level in Moscow is 62.7% with a target value of 80%. The city has introduced compulsory vaccination against coronavirus for certain categories of the population with a high risk of infection.
