“For this 5th edition, the ministry is partnering with the Regional Councils of Fez-Meknes, the Oriental and, for the first time, Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima. This expanded partnership will support around 160 projects from the 12 regions of the Kingdom,” said a press release from the ministry.

Each selected project will benefit from financial support of up to 49,000 dirhams. Beyond financial support, project leaders will also benefit from personalized support to develop their project.

The expected impact of this 5th edition on employment is estimated at around 6,000 jobs maintained and 3,000 new jobs created.

The “MOAZARA” program has already had notable success in its first four editions. It involves 414 co-financed projects, 19.2 million dirhams of total investment, 13,800 jobs maintained and 8,300 new jobs created, 52,506 beneficiaries, 62% of whom are women and 52% of the projects carried out in rural areas.

The four previous editions have supported various sectors, such as crafts, tourism, solidarity agriculture, the promotion of local products, cultural entrepreneurship, as well as projects in the fields of health, education, environmental preservation, renewable energies, and the development of local natural resources.

The “MOAZARA” program is part of the financial and technical support programs of the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, which aims to support players in the ESS sector in their development.

Project leaders are invited to submit their application on the dedicated digital platform until August 30, 2024.
