The Novosibirsk Region is open to accepting applications from entrepreneurs working in the field of social business. They are invited to obtain and confirm the status of “Social Enterprise”.
Last year, 61 small and medium-sized businesses received the status of a social enterprise by decision of a special commission under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the region. Social entrepreneurs have the opportunity to use support measures specially developed within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the region, since 2021, social entrepreneurs have received the right to financial support from the regional budget in the form of a grant of up to 500 thousand rubles. Funds can be used to implement a project in the field of social entrepreneurship.
So, according to the results of competitions held in 2021 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, 18 social enterprises received grants totaling more than eight million rubles.
