(ANSA) – NAPLES, MAY 09 – Illustrate how inclusion – scholastic and social – is an evolutionary process that involves the school/university, the territory and the third sector “in an osmotic and inseparable bond”. This is the objective of the meeting scheduled for tomorrow, 10 May, in Benevento (9.30 am), in the University of Sannio (Sala dell’Assunta-Palazzo San Domenico), on the theme “Education, art and inclusion: comparisons and reflections”, promoted by the “Amici del Lan-Artisti in Movimento” Association.
At the center of the discussion is the education and social inclusion of people with disabilities.
Underlines the legal representative of the Association, prof.
Giuseppe Gargiulo: “The moral patronage granted, among others, by the General Directorate of the Regional School Office for Campania is particularly significant which motivates: “… for participation in the Benevento conference, benefiting from art as a driver of inclusion in the world scholastic, as a topic of study and discussion, which allows the aforementioned Cultural Association, settled in the Monumental Complex of the Holy Apostles of Naples, to create ‘new geometries’ of territorial relationships, expressed in particular with the involvement of scholastic institutions and the various Universities in the Campania region, where the vast educational offering is an expression of the educational belief for an ‘inclusive school and university’ which aims at the integral and integrated education of students, understood as active citizens, enhancing their uniqueness and educating them in the human sciences, literature and the arts through the promotion of well-being and motivation to learn”. In the first session, coordinated by prof. Vincenzo Casamassima, the attention will be focused on the state of the art and the prospects of training and education – school and university – of people with disabilities; in the second session – coordinated by prof. Sara Amato – the artist’s book by high school student Maria Martuscelli “Quaderno in caviardage” will be presented. (HANDLE).
