Social Islami Bank participated in the meeting of expatriate Bangladeshis in Medina.

About 1600 Bangladeshis living in Madina participated in this meeting recently organized by expatriate Bangladeshi community-Madina, Manwara, Saudi Arabia.

Zafar Alam, Managing Director and Chief Executive of Social Islami Bank, was present as the chief guest on the occasion.

Zafar Alam was given a memorial on behalf of expatriate Bangladeshis. Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank and Head of Investment Risk Management Division and SEVP Md. Tauhid Hossain attended the event.

In the speech of the chief guest, Zafar Alam said that expatriate Bangladeshis send remittances to the country after earning by hard work. Their remittance keeps the country’s economy moving. He urged expatriate Bangladeshis to send remittances legally.

We have also introduced a service product called Pravasi Deposit Scheme for expatriates. By accepting investment against this deposit scheme, an expatriate remittance fighter can do business, trade or self-employment.
