Monterrey, February 4, In a show of commitment to education, the Social Manager, Diana Sierra Márquez, delivered 200 school kits to boys and girls of the Educational Institution of San José de Loma Verde, within the framework of the ‘Meeting for Development and Work’ led by the mayor of Montería, Hugo Kerguelén García.
Sierra Márquez assured that “seeing the joy with which the boys and girls of Loma Verde welcomed us filled our hearts and souls. From day one I have been willing to get involved in educational debates and initiatives, because I recognize the importance of teaching in Montería.”
The Manager invited all parents, teachers and members of the educational community to “value and support the education of our boys, girls and adolescents; Let us remember that we are committed to fostering spaces of curiosity, creativity and love of learning for the little ones.”
The school kits delivered are made up of basic supplies such as notebooks, pencils, erasers, colors and rulers, among other essential elements for the development of school activities. As well as backpacks so that they can transport the materials safely and comfortably.
It should be remembered that this is the first time in history that the entire municipal administration cabinet; The Social Management team, led by Manager Diana Sierra, and the municipal councilors go to this district, one of the furthest from the urban area, to listen to the ideas and requests of the community of Loma Verde and its paths.
