Anxiety and depression are not just caused by teens using social media. Depression is just like any other illness which just needs full support from the family.

Research published in the Jamaican Network’s Open Medical Journal shows that middle-aged people who use social media, such as Tic Tac Toe, Instagram and Facebook Snap, are more likely to develop rheumatism.

The survey was conducted between May 2020 and May 2021 on an average of 5395 people aged 56 years. The Kovid epidemic was found in a study to find out how middle-aged people cope. The researchers studied the effects of social media on mental health.

Roy Perlis, a professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, says toxicology causes similar problems in middle – aged people who do not use social media. But there is no evidence that social media has led them to depression. The survey also found that people with depression were more likely to use social media. Experts also say that adults should be careful when spending time on social media.

Before the epidemic, 8.5 percent of adults in the United States reported depression. Since then, it has risen to 33 percent.
