X CEO Linda Yaccarino announced that the X on TV application will bring interesting, real-time content to smart TVs.
The application will have a trending video algorithm, to help users stay up to date with popular content.
Apart from that, users can also enjoy videos grouped according to certain topics with the support of artificial intelligence (AI).
The X application on TV also supports cross-platform use, so that videos that users watch on their cellphones can also be enjoyed on the television screen.
“The app features enhanced video search and will be available on almost all smart TVs,” Yaccarino said.
While not revealing a launch date, X executives say the X on TV app will be available soon.
The announcement of the launch of the X app for TV comes after the social media platform from Donald Trump’s media company, Truth Social, revealed its plans to launch a live TV streaming service.
