When obtaining a pension or contributory benefit, it is important to know how much and how we have contributed. To have both information updated, we can ask Social Security to send us both reports.

In the first case, you have to request the work history report, which shows how many days you have been discharged and in what regimes. If this information is enough for us, we can request that they send it to us by SMS, although we can also ask that they send us our complete contribution history with the records of all registrations and cancellations by postal mail or email.

In the second case, from now on we can also request that Social Security send us a letter with details of our contribution bases. That is, by which company have we been registered at any time and what has been our contribution base each month.

To request the letter, it is necessary that the postal address that we provide when filling out this application is the same one that appears in the Social Security files. If so, it is enough to specify the period for which we want to know the bases (from which month and to which month). An advert; the system does not display data prior to June 1980.

When sending the questionnaire, Social Security will send us the application data by email so that, in the event of any incident, we can monitor its status.
