WHAT AMOUNT WILL THE BENEFITS RECEIVE?
As we indicated above, the amount increased after making the respective Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA); thus we have that the maximum amount for Social Security beneficiaries is 4,555 dollars, while the average check is 1,827 dollars per month.
The only requirement that you must have met to collect the retirement payment is to have obtained the 40 credits that Social Security requests.

The amounts that beneficiaries receive are different, because they depend on the age at which they retired and the Social Security contribution they made during their working lives.
People who took an early retirement, at age 62, receive up to $2,572 a month. Those who retired at age 67, their monthly payment can be up to $3,627. Those who delayed their retirement until age 70, can get a maximum payment of up to US$4,555.
