Declarations from Sofia party organizations of the BSP against the municipal councilors who supported the election of the chairman of the Capital Municipal Council by PP-DB-SS are submitted to the National Council of the BSP. This was announced by the press center of “Positano”.
The declaration from BSP Krasno Selo says: “We withdraw our trust from the municipal councilors of “BSP for Bulgaria”. Ladies and gentlemen, municipal councillors, we worked for your election, but you betrayed us! You supported with your vote the shameful collusion with the city’s right wing. The same right-wing that for more than 30 years robbed the citizens of the capital, that cut monuments and cynically turned them into holiday cakes to celebrate their victory over our memory, against our dignity. Shame on you!”
Socialists from the BSP Lyulin state that the support of the municipal councilors of the BSP for the election of the chairman of the SOS is incorrect and contrary to the morality and dignity of the BSP. In the position expressed by them, they indicate that this leaves the rank-and-file members of the BSP with a taste of disappointment for yet another scheme and disrespect for the decisions of the party’s leadership.
At its meeting, the Regional Council of the BSP “Oborishte” also distanced itself from the actions of the municipal councilors, calling on Ivan Takov and Ivan Peshev to bear political responsibility by resigning as Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the General Assembly of the BSP-Sofia.
The Socialists proposed at the next meeting of the National Council of the BSP to impose the relevant party penalties and supported the decision of the Executive Bureau of the BSP to remove the political trust in those who voted for the chairman of the SOS.
The dissatisfaction of the socialists with the Sofia organization of the BSP came about after a few days ago the Municipal Councilors from “BSP for Bulgaria” ignored the decisions of the National Assembly of the BSP, the IB of the National Assembly of the BSP and their own decisions to nominate a candidate of the BSP for chairman, and supported unprincipled candidacy of PP-DB-SS for chairman of SOS.
