The singer remembers many stereotypes in her children’s school books – for example based on clothing. More needs to be invested in educational work, she says.

Singer Joy Denalane (50, “With You”) finds some portrayals of people in school media questionable. “In the There were still a lot of stereotypes in my children’s school books, and they haven’t been out of school long,” said the Berlin mother of two sons in an interview with the magazine “Emotion” (11/23), which will be published on Monday.

For example, it shows what people from different parts of the world look like. “For some reason, all the white people from Western countries are incredibly well-dressed and super-coiffed. And the others look like they live in shacks with no access to water.
