In Petsali, the comedy “Sodas and Aspirins” by Michalis Kovanidis, directed by Olga Zisi, staged this summer by the Municipal Regional Theater of Ioannina, is presented in Petsali.

It could be a comedy of misunderstandings, since everything starts from a misunderstanding, a wrong assessment of the situation by the heroes of the play. But soon the incoherence becomes the way to illuminate absurd situations of everyday life. Defending the absurd makes common sense lose its value. The heroes, people “next door”, come face to face with their own stories and create plot twists and laughs. Five faces will do everything to get justice through a clash for laughs and tears. At times the play becomes bitter, but laughter seems to purify the various situations. In a corner of the city, five people meet by chance and as we can only see through comedy, they collide, confess, dance, dream, fall in love…
Actors Maria Katsoulidis, Fanis Kosmas, Yiannis Kotsarinis, Leonidas Mikropoulos and Nikos Sfeiropoulos are playing.
The choreography is edited by Olga Zisi, the scenery – costumes by Eleni Godou, lighting design by Michalis Kouvopoulos, music by Dimitris Sioros. Haritini Koukou dances.
