“Breakfast Coffee” came into my life when I was a student and I came to Greece for holidays. My mom saw an ad for gymnastics and called and gave my name. I ran the solution. There were at least 2-3000 gymnasts and in the end it was just me and Giorgos Loukanidis. In my first appearance on “Breakfast Coffee” I was a brunette. I had come from Italy where I was a student, I had black hair, so Indian. I go out to exercise with George. “The most difficult moment in my short television career was when Giorgos Loukanidis was killed. We were partners, friends, like brothers. It was the end of the season, we had spoken to Giorgos in the evening, because in the morning we had a date together, to make a proposal. When I opened my cell phone this morning, a friend picked it up and said “did you find out what happened to George?”. I told him “no” and that we have an appointment at 10. And he told me that he was killed last night. I remember everyone running around the room and screaming. “Breakfast” for me ended after George’s death. The gymnastics part of the show was stopped in general”, recalled Sofia Pathekas, referring to the death of Giorgos Loukanidis.
