Sofia University announced an additional admission of over 1,400 places for students after the second ranking. According to the list published on the website of the educational institution, more than 1,000 are available for state procurement, and about 400 for paid education.
There are the most vacancies for the specialty “Informatics” – 48 in the regular form of education. Followed by “Information Systems” with 26 and “Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy” – with 25 vacancies.
More than 10,377 applicants applied for admission to the oldest university in July. 6,037 were accepted at the first ranking.
In the first place among the most desired specialties of the ranking in July was “Law”. In second place is “Psychology”. The third place goes to the specialty “International Relations”. In the following places, the candidates placed the majors “Journalism”, “Public Relations”, “Business Administration with English”, “Communication Management”, “English Philology”, “Software Engineering”, “Economics and Finance with English”, ” Law” (paid form of education), “Computer Science” and “Bulgarian Philology”.
