Nearly 1,200 students and young professionals want to be trainees at Yettel. This is a record number of applicants in all nine years that the Hub by Yettel internship program has been running.

The positions in the field of software programming, cyber security and artificial intelligence caused the greatest interest this year. In this year’s edition, the company opened internship positions in some of the most dynamic and promising fields – robotics and automation, cyber security and AI, mobile network engineering and analysis, working with big volumes of data, as well as roles in the field of commerce, digital marketing and customer service. chain store experience. The experience of the young people is also interesting – most of them graduated from universities in Bulgaria, while others studied in Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and even New York.

Out of all nearly 1,200 candidates, only 57 were invited to the next stage – the so-called assessment center. In it, young people were given the task of designing a “smart” and sustainable city for 70,000 inhabitants. The future trainees were divided into teams and had less than an hour to “create” the city of the future. The next final stage of selection will be an individual interview, where candidates will meet the manager of the team they are applying to.

This year’s ninth edition of Hub by Yettel will begin on November 1. The internship program lasts for one year, which is one of its biggest advantages. In this way, the intern can go deep into key projects for the company and gain valuable experience, which makes him much more prepared and confident to continue his development in the company. Since the launch of Hub by Yettel in 2016, a total of 83 interns have participated in the program, with nearly 85% of them continuing their development at Yettel to this day.
