Festival canceled
The solidarity festival Made In Chile, was raised in order to support the families affected by the unfortunate tragedy caused by the fires. For this reason, the production announced at the time that would donate 100% of the amounts raised.
Despite its good intentions, a few days before the event, the organization revealed an important announcement through its social networks.
“We regret to inform you that despite all the efforts to hold this event on April 7, HitMakers is forced to definitively suspend the Made in Chile Festival,” the letter says.
The above, according to the organization, would be due to “low ticket sales and community interest for attending this event that sought to promote the cultural diversity of Chilean music. Which “It was not allowing us to cover the costs of the event or make profits.”
