With God’s blessings, I fully believe that the economic crisis will be resolved within the coming year. President Ranil Wickresinghe said that everyone should work together to overcome the challenges.
Speaking on the closing day of Kandy Dalata House Perahara last Friday (12), he mentioned the above.
He further noted.
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Kandi Thiavadana Nilamev for fulfilling this honorable responsibility.
It was only after a period of two years that the Kandy Talatha House was able to conduct the Perahara with much fanfare.
People of all faiths participate in the Kandy Talatha House Perahara. Kandi Perahara is a part of the Sri Lankan ritual. The protection of the country is seen as the main prayer.
I consider Kandi Perahara to be an opportunity to receive the blessings of God in the situation facing the economic crisis. The crisis situation has affected everyone. The economic crisis must be resolved. More challenging times can appear.
We should recover from all the challenges. Everyone should be ready to take the country on the path of progress with the best policy. I hope that the activities in all the religions of the country, including Dalatha House, will give us full blessings.
